Just downloaded and tested your module as it seemed exactly what we need – the ability to create an Outlook Task from PowerShell. We’re running Outlook 2016 on Windows 10 or Server 2012 R2.
Problem is cannot create $outlookApplication when PowerShell is running in Administratror mode and Outlook is not, which would be the normal situation. Many scripts will not run if PowerShell is NOT in admin mode. There does not seem to be an easy way to modify Outlook to always run in admin mode, and most users will not always remember to follow all the steps to start Outlook in admin mode.
